Now.
Three layers: what I am building, what I am incubating, and what I am learning. Ideas stay here until they earn a project page.
Currently Building
Active work with momentum. Things I am executing on right now.
- Digital marketing at Cooley. Long-horizon strategy, operational clarity, and systems that scale without losing quality.
- GoYou. AI-assisted goal setting and life planning, shipped in tight experimental loops.
- JamesHallWorks.com. Documenting active work and thinking in one place.
- Make It Factory. A downtown Ashburn experiment: creative hub, incubator, and proof that small towns can run ambitious ideas.
Incubating
Ideas I am shaping before they become full projects. These live here on purpose, not on the Projects page yet.
- One Love News (OLN). A storytelling and media platform. Early stage. Testing narrative, format, and what "useful news" looks like for the communities it serves.
- Keep it Queer (KIQ). A culture-forward concept with Kamo King. Exploring identity, programming, and how design and story can move together before anything is scaled.
Currently Learning
- AI workflow design. Using AI to help people build useful things, not just produce more content.
- Enterprise marketing craft. Sharpening judgment, trust, and prioritization inside a high-stakes environment.
- Creative discipline. Painting and photography keep taste honest and attention sharp.
- Tool fluency. Testing new AI tools and deciding what belongs in the real workflow versus noise.
Currently Exploring
- Marketing after AI. When everyone can generate content, taste and strategy become the moat, not volume.
- Small-town innovation. What happens when people in places like South Georgia get the same tools Silicon Valley has had for years.
- Building in public. Sharing more unfinished work, fewer polished postmortems.
Current Priorities
- Deliver meaningful work at Cooley. Strong execution, measurable outcomes, long-term brand equity.
- Ship GoYou in tighter loops. Smaller releases, faster feedback, better decisions.
- Keep Make It Factory alive locally. Consistent momentum beats occasional hype.
- Move OLN and KIQ forward deliberately. One clear experiment at a time, not premature launches.
- Protect studio time. Painting is part of how I think, not a side quest.
- Stay selectively open. Consulting, speaking, and collaborations that are actually aligned.
